Sorry I didn’t reply earlier. I was puzzled by the name because I had forgotten that I had that picture on my website. It was taken in the National Collection at Mt Edgcumbe in 2012, but unfortunately the plant is no longer there. The RHS online plantfinder doesn’t even list it, let alone give a supplier. All of which is very regrettable as it’s a variety raised by Sebire in Australia, as were two of my all time favourites, ‘Annette Carol’ and ‘Adorable’; with similar parentage it would seem, so I would very much like to have a plant of it myself. I will make some enquiries and keep you posted.
Thank you Jim, i look forward to hearing from you, by the way i’m in the UK,i don’t know if you are? but as long as we can locate a plant it would be great.
A couple of years ago we found one called “sprite” and it was a very poor and pooly plant, But the picture showed a beautiful flower (to us that is) and we rejected it, not knowing it was a hard variation to find, hindsight is a grand thing.
Regards Paul.
