No six from me this week, you’ll have to post your links down below and talk amongst yourselves. I’ll be back as soon as I’m able and will let you know what’s been going on.
Hope nothing too serious – the post image is lovely – I just walked past a big patch of those, all in blue yesterday on my way to a meeting and it made me smile. Best wishes!
Still the slow progress in my neck of the woods. Daffs are mostly fully open but cooler weather has returned o they should keep a while longer. Muscari are blooming. My weeping cherry has been wisely holding off blooming but it will have to give in soon. I still need to remove a few excess branches, but now it is late for that, so maybe after blooming. So, for this week, closeups of tiny leaves emerging. Nothing flashy, but promising, all the same.
Computer confession time. I had my blog ready to post. One click and it disappeared into the ether. All my clever searching was to no avail. I am featuring the bluebirds together on the birdhouse even though the photo is blurry.
I hope you’ll be 6-ing again soon. I have a love/hate relationship with bluebells. I inherited a garden with borders full of them (not the native ones unfortunately). Although the colour is welcome at this point in the year, they are growing alongside other plants and are very difficult to remove if I don’t want them.
Greetings, Jim. I recently saw your segment on camellias on Gardeners World. Amazon Prime is a treasure box—sometimes more like Pandora’s box, though. Be well. https://aftereden.blog/2026/04/11/six-on-saturday-11-april-2026/

I have the same issue – plus my wife really likes them, so I have to be selective about which ones I remove.
